Disable Exchange throttling limits

Exchange 2010

To disable all throttling parameters for an admin account called "exchmigration":

1. On a computer that hosts the Microsoft Exchange Management Shell, open the Microsoft Exchange Management Shell.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

New-ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy

3. Type the following command and press Enter:

Set-ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy -RCAMaxConcurrency $null -RCAPercentTimeInAD $null -RCAPercentTimeInCAS $null -RCAPercentTimeInMailboxRPC $null -EWSMaxConcurrency $null -EWSPercentTimeInAD $null -EWSPercentTimeInCAS $null -EWSPercentTimeInMailboxRPC $null -EWSMaxSubscriptions $null -EWSFastSearchTimeoutInSeconds $null -EWSFindCountLimit $null -CPAMaxConcurrency $null -CPAPercentTimeInCAS $null -CPAPercentTimeInMailboxRPC $null -CPUStartPercent $null

4. Type the following command and press Enter:

Set-Mailbox "exchmigration" -ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy

Exchange Server 2013 or 2016

To disable all throttling parameters for an admin account called "exchmigration":

1. Open the Exchange Management Shell.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

New-ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy

3. Type the following command and press Enter:

Set-ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy -RCAMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EWSMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EWSMaxSubscriptions Unlimited -CPAMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EwsCutoffBalance Unlimited -EwsMaxBurst Unlimited -EwsRechargeRate Unlimited

4. Type the following command and press Enter:

Set-Mailbox "exchmigration" -ThrottlingPolicy DTARMigrationPolicy
